The đ¶ 6wk Big Dream Program Adventure begins 24th July, 2024! (live group, online!)
Hiya friend!
A way to figure out what you're doing next.
If the topic of life purpose, life direction, finding your calling, or put more simply: âfiguring out what the sweet holy f**k am I doing with my lifeâ is a big question for you these days, this program is about that.
Â
Here's what it's about...
Who it's for... đ
-
You've got this nagging feeling you're meant to do something significant with the next chapter of your work in this world, but try as you might, you can't put your finger on what your âthingâ is. It's a slippery thing.
-
Complicating that decision, you also dream of a daily life that's more... you. Simpler, gawdammit. Maybe it's a bit of slow travel, growing your own veggies, creativity, or having the freedom to homeschool your kids.
-
You often feel like the 'odd one out' in your circles. You're craving connections with folks who really 'get' you and your dreams.
-
You've got a helluva lot of interests, and skills. You're no slouch when it comes to hard work, but you want it to be on your terms and meaningful. Fulfilling. You know you can channel all this 'you' into something.
-
You're drawn to stories of people living unconventional lives. Sometimes you dream about throwing it all out the window and moving to a beach hut, doing yoga, hanging with your close-ies, and reading great books all day. But how the hell would THAT work? You think about it, though.Â
BUT... despite your years of efforts, projects, certifications, degrees, and journal-full of really-good ideas (ok, 7 journals. At least), you just can't seem to figure out how to bring it all together. You worry you might be missing the boat as the years tick by đŹ.
If you're reading this thinking 'damn. the man's in my head', it's not because I've been eavesdropping. It's because it was me. Despite other things I don't do well in life, everything above is something I DID solve, and how I did it became the Big Dream Program nearly 20yrs ago.
I can help with this. đ
 Â
This program is particularly well-suited for:
Those self-employed (or aspiring to be) who are working with clients, consulting, maybe practicing holistic health modalities, leading workshops to help the planet, or engaging in community-building efforts - or wanting to do so. Or even if that's NOT you, it's who your friends are đ.
Bottom line is: this is for the person with a fierce independent streak who just wants to help, in your unique - and big - way, and you want to get going on it.

The Spirit and Purpose of our 6wk Adventure
I made a video at my favourite spot by the river about this 6wk Adventure, because words come more easily to me that way. Let me speak to you about our 'river journey' together, and our purpose - what weâre COLLECTING for you on this journey
I explain stuff in the video that is not in the text below, so please stop for a watch of this, to see if you're on board with what I'm saying. :)

Â
The nitty-gritty as it stands thus far:
WHEN:Â July 24th to September 4th - Way to hit September with a MASTER PLAN!Â
(Why start on a Wednesday? It's all about that Barber #2 lifestyle! I'll be at a music festival the weekend before so can't start on a Monday. I'll still be 'away with the fairies'! This gives me time to get ready for you and answer all your admin Qs to begin on Wednesday. And as it happens, it really suits the workflow structure for us - more on that below)
WHERE:Â Our 6wk adventure takes place in my cozy (off-social-media) membership site 'home' on the Circle Platform. đ
The Power of Doing This Together:
-
I've heard we're 3-5x more likely to follow through with things we really care about if we do it with like-minded folks who are all aiming towards a similar goal. This has been my experience, and why there are exercise groups, meditation groups, write-your-book groups. I've found it invaluable, as has 'most' of my clients.
-
I've built as much accountability into this as I can, to help ease your worry about completing. You WILL need to do the work, though, you  No slouching ;)
Inside our Circle space, you can be as quiet as a mouse if you'd rather. And otherwise, it'll be a great place to meet & chat with like-hearted adventurers - from all over. Share ideas. Lively conversations tend to spark up in the comments under lessons that open up new possibilities and will give me fodder for bonus videos I will make during.Â
I wouldn't be surprised if you make a new friend or two, or a collaborator for your next project, that might even far outweigh the value even of the program. (Though you won't tell me that, because you're really nice and want me to think I'm the best thing in there đ)
Â
How It Works...đ
Come out of it with 6Â things... đ
1. Your new Habitat Map
2. The Doin-Your-Own-Thing (DYOT) Business Model
3. Your đ Sunshine Shelf lists of very 'you' ingredients to fill it in with.
4. Your very own Big Dream Project.
5. Actionable Micro-Projects to make it happen.
6. The Float-Out Model, to get your new work launched swiftly.
Schedule + time-commitment:
Â
(Live calls are optional, core content is DIY & dropped each week)
Â
I've designed this program to accommodate our diverse group spanning multiple time zones and busy schedules. Here's how we'll make it work:Â
Each Friday:Â I'll release the next week's lessons. This gives you the weekend and early week to dive into the content at your own pace. It's all about flexibility - you can engage deeply with the material when it suits you best, whether that's Saturday morning with coffee or Tuesday evening after the kids are in bed.
The heart of our program is the DIY learning. You'll complete the content on your schedule, absorbing and working through the ideas in a way that resonates with you. This approach ensures everyone can participate fully in the core program, regardless of their location or commitments.
Then, we come together: Our live calls (happening Thursday, Friday, or Saturday at 12 noon EST Toronto-time - exact schedule not nailed down yet, but a mixture of those) are where the magic happens. While optional, I highly recommend joining these sessions. We'll workshop your ideas, smooth out any kinks, and I'll share extra insights that arise from our discussions that I don't have time for in the core content. It's a chance to deepen your understanding, get personalized feedback from me or others, and get good ideas from others' projects!
This structure - DIY learning followed by live interaction - offers the best of both worlds. You get the flexibility to work at your own pace, plus the energy and accountability of group sessions. It's designed to help keep you moving forward, engaged, and supported throughout our 6-week journey.
Â
TIME COMMITMENT:Â I'm guessing you'll want to make sure you can allow 2 hours min (3-4hrs better) per week - Wed to Wed - to do the core lessons and prep work on your own. NOT INCLUDING the live calls you choose to attend. We can all be flexible, including me, if a week gets crazy on you. But, if this schedule is just not going to work for you, you're better off skipping this run of the program. I will endeavour to make it available as a completely-DIY program in the autumn sometime.
ACCOUNTABILITY HELP:Â To make the most of our live sessions and keep your momentum going, you'll need to aim to complete your homework each week before the calls. We'll be workshopping what you've done, so coming prepared allows you to fully participate and get personalized feedback. This structure naturally encourages steady progress.Â
Plus, you're welcome to set up additional accountability or work-together groups with fellow participants - I'll support these efforts in any way I can.
Pricing:
Investment:Â $250 CAD (â $190 USD) + Pay-What-You-Want at the end. Payment plans are available - just ask!
Why this pricing? My dear friend and book-coach, who has known me 15yrs and helps me with EVERYTHING, has been not-so-gently encouraging me to charge $800. I'm not ready for that yet, but I do feel $600 is comfy.Â
However, this is the first run of this format, and I want to make it as accessible as possible & make sure it's going to be as helpful as I think it can be, while also being kind to myself (something I'm learning, recovering people-pleaser - work in progress đ).
Hence:Â A compromise. This feels great to me: $250 CAD is my request to take part, and the rest is up to you at the end - no strings, only gratitude :)
What to do now:
If this appeals, please fill out the application form below đ It'll do 2 things:
- Helps me learn more about you (and also help you ensure this is a good fit!). There is also a spot in there to ask me any questions you have as well.
- It adds you to a separate email list I can use to give updates to everyone interested-or-in before the course begins. You'll be able to join from there, or unsubscribe if you choose not to.

"for the love of God send them to Alex..."
If you know anyone who is trying to figure out âwhat the eff to do with their lifeâ, whoâs really stuck, whoâs got a lot of interests and talents, and gifts and genius, but hasnât found a way to turn that into income, for the love of God send them to Alex. This is Alexâs definite genius of helping people figure out how to thread that needle which is not easy to do, and impossible when youâre the person IN it, cuz you just canât see the forest for the trees. ~Tad Hargrave, Marketing for Hippies

âHe is the first person I worked with that I felt like gets it and can help me.â
I came to Alex after a few years of really just losing hope that I was going to find work that was meaningful to me. And that fit the lifestyle I really dreamed of. He is the first person I worked with that I felt like gets it and can help me.
He is so good at getting you out of a one track mind, I came to him because I didn't want to be what I was before. But I couldn't get myself to think in a different way. If you're considering working with Alex, I highly recommend it. ~Jeanne Wolz

"After Alex, I have a global practice, speak on stages..."
For years I was afraid to dream big because it would mean that I would have to show up in my native and authentic gifts. I was immobilized by being comfortable. After Alex, I have a global practice, speak on stages - under lights, and allow myself to offer a space for healing that I didnât know was possible. I canât more enthusiastically jump for joy, share hips and hoorays, and hold one of those big foam fingers in the direction of Alex and his work. Go that wayâŠ. your dream is too important not to. ~ xx Amelia, North Carolina |  www.ameliavogler.com
â€ïž PS - A personal note from me.
Why I, personally, do this work: I like to think of myself as a gardener, of sorts. I've spent the last two decades working full-time with folks who are out there making our community and world - or most importantly their inner world - a kinder place. And watching these people over years, I've had a ring-side seat to see the beautiful ripple effects the changes they make (big or small) has on others around them.
It's led me to believe that the solutions to our worldâs problems, the many many many forms of beauty, music, art, peace, laughter and enjoyment, and breakthroughs in compassionate and kind-to-our-planet living that we have not heard of yet, but which will make life for all of us so much better...
Already exist.Â
As seeds deep in the hearts of people out there right now - on sidewalks, crossing kitchens, on the subway, walking a path, or reading my words now. Someone is dreaming of changing their life, another of teaching kids how to connect with nature, another of writing their memoir, another to start growing their own vegetables with their family.
They feel this seed as a tugging in their heart. They feel its âcallâ. It may not be selfish to pay attention to it. It may be the most unselfish thing we could ever do.
So that the kids growing up amongst us can know at least one person who has chosen to live life differently. That may be the only thing they will need to unlock the seeds in their heart down the road. Knowing you.
I would die a satisfied man if I could be a gardener in this world of such seeds.
~ Alex
