The đś Big Dream Program 3-Month Adventure!
A way to figure out what you're doing next.
(Live group, online!)
Â
Hiya friend!
If the topic of life purpose, life direction, finding your calling, or put more simply: âfiguring out what the sweet holy f**k am I doing with my lifeâ is a big question for you these days, this program is about that.
Â
Here's what it's about...
(About the 2 videos below: I made these videos for the first cohort of 25 brave folks to do this program - and youâll hear some of what they thought of the whole thing below. The SECOND group is open now and you can join us anytime!
I donât have time to re-do these videos just now, as Iâm busy getting the next folks started!
Just be aware that there are 2 changes to what I say in them: It's the same program but you have more TIME: 3 months vs 6 weeks, and the price structure is a little different!)
Who it's for... đ
-
You've got this nagging feeling you're meant to do something significant with the next chapter of your work in this world, but try as you might, you can't put your finger on what that is exactly!? đ¤Â
- Part of the trouble is you have a helluva lot of interests, skills, certifications and ideas. So much potential, but for the life of you, you just canât decide which one to focus on. Which one is âThe Thingâ for you?Â
- You're no slouch when it comes to hard work, but you want it to be on your terms and meaningful. Fulfilling. You know there's gotta be a way to channel all this 'you' into something. But what the hell is it?
 Â
Now, as if that weren't enough...
-
You also dream of a daily life that's more, well... you. Simpler, gawdammit. Maybe itâs a bit of slow travel, growing your own veggies, time for creativity, or having the freedom to homeschool the kids.
-
You often feel like the âodd one outâ. You're craving connections with folks who truly âgetâ you and the kinds of dreams you have in life.
- You're drawn to stories of people living unconventional lives. Sometimes you dream about ditching everything, moving to a beach hut, doing yoga, and reading great books all day. But how the hell would THAT work? You think about it though, even if you don't tell anybody đ.
Â
BUT...
Despite your years of efforts, projects, certifications, degrees, and journal-full of really-good ideas (ok. 7 journals, at least), you just can't seem to figure out how to bring it all together. As the years tick by, you sometimes fear missing the boat on this đŹ.
If you're reading this thinking 'damn. the man's in my head', it's not because I've been eavesdropping. It's because it was me.
Despite other things I don't do well in life, everything above is something I DID solve, and how I did it became the Big Dream Program nearly 20yrs ago.
I can help with this. đ
Â
 Â
This program is especially well-suited for:
- Those self-employed (or aspiring to be): who are working with clients, consulting, maybe doing things like practising healing modalities or art, leading workshops to help the planet, or engaging in community-building efforts - or wanting to. Even if that's not you, it's who your friends are đ.
- And maverick folks with a fierce independent streak. Project-minded folks who feel deep down that they have something significant to share in the world. But what the hell is it?! They wish to make our world better, with their unique talents, and are also tired of wheel-spinning on this. They just, for the love of all things, want to get frigging started. đÂ
-
You â¤ď¸ the idea of helping others have a better life in some way, making some kind of excellent contribution of help, healing, fun, or beauty in your community or world - to lift others up and help heal our planet.
Â
Â
The Spirit and Purpose of this Adventure:
I made a video at my favourite spot by the river about this Big Dream Program Adventure, because words come more easily to me that way. About our 'River Journey', and the purpose of it: what weâre COLLECTING for you!
I explain stuff in the video that is not in the text below, so please stop for a wee watch of this, to see if you're on board (paddleboard đ¤?) with what I'm saying.
Â
Â
đ If my river-side rambles resonate with you...
Hereâs what's inside our 3-month River Adventure đś
Â
Â
1ď¸âŁ The River Journey đż
The entire program is styled as a river journey - everyone in kayaks and paddleboards, rafts, even a hammock. Folks LOVED it. It is rich in visual imagery.
Â
Â
2ď¸âŁ RiverBank School đś
This is the heart of the course. It took me about 18 years of working with clients to create, and 3 years to build. With 87 lessons and nearly 100 videos, itâs thoughtfully designed to make this program clear, sequential, and easy to follow. It guides, step by step.
Â
Â
3ď¸âŁ Guided Somatic Meditations đ§
My experience over the years, with clients, has been that our hearts and bodies have very important clues to contribute to our life direction decisions, not just our brains. These are important clues for how we wish to create the lives we feel, deep down.
For this reason: robust, guided somatic meditations are built into this program.
These meditations are deeply relevant to the material, and voted a favourite part by past participants and clients. Especially the 4 part LifeWalk Meditation - particularly useful for seeing what they might be here on this planet to do, with their work.
Â
Â
4ď¸âŁ Storytime! đ
- Tales to inspire: Stories relevant to our adventure, like Eddie the Tuba player, the Tale of Two Barbers, Tamara & The Taverna-Keeper, and a lot more.
- Client Examples: A host of client examples from over the years, to help spark your own great ideas.Â
- My own personal stories: Wins & what worked, but also âThe Failsâ đ. The latter have proven to be handy for pot-hole-avoidance for participants.
Â
Â
5ď¸âŁ The Firepit đĽ & The CoffeeShop âď¸
What adventure is complete without this, I ask you? I think none.
Weâve got our own Firepit space â for the deeper, meaningful discussions, and the CoffeeShop for fun chats. These spaces have proven a lovely wind-down for connection, new friendships, and even collaborations with like-hearted folks from around the world. After a previous program, many of the participants met weekly for some months to help each other with their websites.
Â
Â
Â
6ď¸âŁ Live Calls đĽ
Weekly live calls (typically Wednesdays at 10am EST, with some flexibility) are a chance to dive deeper, make friends, get individual help from me, or the eclectic group + lots of bonus insights not covered in the core lessons.
Optional, but fun, these sessions do seem to bring extra magic to the journey.
Recordings are available for those unable to attend live: I totally understand that life, with all of our responsibilities and time-zones, itâs not always possible. This is why I made the calls optional. So that no one is left out.
That said, a woman in Australia liked them so much that she got herself up at 2am to attend. So there's that. đ¤
Â
7ď¸âŁ And... to be honest, I think it looks pretty in here, too. (That's what's most important, right?!) đ
The last cohort went quite well, I think... đ
Â
- "Itâs one of the BEST courses Iâve ever done. If not THE best."Â ~ Christin in Oklahoma, USA
- "I've never encountered anything so rich, deep, creative, yet practical đ" ~ Ivana in Serbia
- "Alexâs program exceeded all my expectations... I feel like I am leaving the course with tangible tools and a map to build the life I never thought was possible. My perspective is forever changed." ~ Shelly in New Brunswick, Canada (Update: Shelly began her own new business THING within a week of finishing this program, and four people have already signed up.)
- Jenny, another participant, is opening up her new backyard-habitat-making business in the UK, after doing this program.
- "Alex Baisley has taken us on a splendid journey!" ~ Kerry-Fleur
- "No matter where you are along the The Big Dream journey, Alex, along with some incredible fellow travelers, help open up possibilities and bring them to reality. Expect to laugh, cry, think deeply, and find yourself within your Big Dream." ~ Stephanie M. in USA
Come Out of This Program with 6 things... đ
1. Your new Habitat Map: Understand your environment, rhythms, and how to design a life that suits you.
2. The DYOT (Doin-Your-Own-Thing) Business Model:Â Develop your own, unique business that works for YOU.
3. Your đ Sunshine Shelf Lists: A collection of your most âyouâ ingredientsâwhat lights you up!
4. Your Very Own Big Dream Project: Define and refine your big vision into a tangible project.
5. Actionable Micro-Projects: Breaks your vision down into doable steps, so you know what to work on when you get up in the morning!
6. The Float-Out Model: To launch your new work in the world swiftly!
How it Works... đ
Â
The 3 Core Ingredients of our program ecosystem.
- The Core Program Lessons: Youâll receive the next set of lessons every other Friday. Tackle them over the weekend, or fit them in whenever suits your schedule. It's all about flexibility â you can dive deep into the material when it suits you best, whether that's Saturday morning with coffee or Tuesday evening after the kids are in bed. Each Module is to designed to help you generate the next 'document' in your overall PLAN (as I mentioned in the video above.)
- Live Calls & Interaction: Live calls are where the magic happens. While entirely optional, I recommend joining these sessions if you can. They happen once a week; weâll workshop your ideas, smooth out any kinks, and I'll share extra insights that come up during our discussions â things that arenât in the core lessons. I also tend to lead guided somatic meditations during these sessions.
- Accountability: I've heard weâre 3-5x more likely to follow through on things we care about when doing them alongside like-minded folks, and I've built a lot of 'natural' motivation into this to help ease any worry about completing. The % of people completing the last one is 3x higher than the average for online programs, which says a lot. You WILL need to do the work, though, you! No slouching. đ But you won't have to go it alone.
Â
This structure â DIY learning followed by live interaction â offers the best of both worlds.Â
You get the flexibility to work at your own pace, plus the energy and accountability of group sessions. Itâs designed to help keep you moving forward, engaged, and supported throughout our adventure together. (So long as you're willing to show up, that is!)
Â
Do you have to be, you know, social?
Haha. I'm an extreme introvert. And that's the question I'd be asking in my head if I were thinking about joining this program. Do I have to, like, talk to anybody? đ¤Ł
I reckon that 75% of the last participants were on the introverted side too. And you know what? We STILL had a blast together. It's because of WHO they are, I reckon. We're all kinda wierd, in a good way, and get that about each other. Maybe it's just so much easier, because we don't have to hide who we really are, like we might have to in 'normal life.'
That being said... no - you don't have to talk to anybody đ¤Ł. Inside our cozy Circle space, you can be as quiet as a mouse if you wish â just do the lessons and watch the live call recordings from the safety of your own cozy solitude. Or, if youâre feeling comfy and inspired, you can dive into the conversations. It is a great place to meet & chat with like-hearted big-dreamers from all over. Lively conversations tend to spark up in the comments under lessons that open up new possibilities for everybody.
I wouldn't be surprised if you made a new friend or two â or maybe even found a collaborator for your next project â that ends up outweighing the value of the program itself. (Though you won't tell me that, because you're really nice and want me to think I'm the best thing in there đ)
Key Program Details:
- DATES:Â Join anytime! You can do the core curriculum in 3 months if you stick at it, and you can stay longer if you wish. There is no hurry.
- WHERE: Our private membership site, on the Circle platform â It's cozy, off-social-media, and even has its own app for easy access on the go!
Â
â¤ď¸ My job: People-friendly Program Design:
This program is designed to accommodate our diverse group spanning multiple time zones and busy schedules. Here's how we make that work:
- Core content is self-paced and released every second week.Â
- Live calls are optional and recorded, so you can watch them when you are free.
 Â
đ Your job: Your Time CommitmentÂ
Please pay close attention to this â as it's been an issue for some participants before: This program is just not going to be a fit for you if you canât set aside the following time, on average, per week:
- Minimum 3 hours per week: for the 8 core program modules. Lessons build on each other and require your attention. Some weeks may need a bit more time, while others may need less. You can choose to do a little each day or set aside a 4-hour chunk of time once a week, which will usually be sufficient for the lessons plus some of the things below.Â
- Optional 1 hour per week: for live calls (or watching recordings)
- Additional flexible time: for bonus lessons, optional discussion posts, and chatting with fellow participants.
Sure, you can be flexible if life gets "life-y," (you miss a week, say, and have to double up the next week), and everyone has different learning approaches / speeds, but if this average commitment will not work for you, consider waiting for the completely DIY version (no community component) available in the autumn.Â
Pricing:
Investment: $200 CAD per month, for 3 months ($200 CAD is approximately $150 USD, ÂŁ115, âŹ140, $220 AUD)
This investment gives you access to everything outlined here, along with the support and encouragement of a like-hearted community.
Â
Refund Policy:
I donât offer refunds for partial months, as I believe this program is priced very affordably for what it includes. Even completing half of the lessons should be more than worth this investment. Wait until you see them! đ
While I canât force you to engage with the lessonsâthat responsibility is yoursâif you start the program and decide itâs not the right fit for you, you can cancel at that time and wonât be charged for the remaining months. Sound fair?
What to do now:
If this appeals to you, please fill out the application form below đ. This will accomplish two things:
- It helps me learn more about you: This ensures that the program is a good fit for you. Thereâs also a section for you to ask any questions you may have!
-
It adds you to an exclusive email list: Iâll use this list to share updates with you before and during our course. (You can unsubscribe from them, but I don't suggest it DURING the program. It's a key way for me to communicate with you besides inside our membership site itself.)
Â
The Adventure starts soon! You can click the button below if you wish to apply for your spot, or reach out to me with any questions you have. I canât wait to paddle down this river with you! đś

"for the love of God send them to Alex..."
If you know anyone who is trying to figure out âwhat the eff to do with their lifeâ, whoâs really stuck, whoâs got a lot of interests and talents, and gifts and genius, but hasnât found a way to turn that into income, for the love of God send them to Alex. This is Alexâs definite genius of helping people figure out how to thread that needle which is not easy to do, and impossible when youâre the person IN it, cuz you just canât see the forest for the trees. ~Tad Hargrave, Marketing for Hippies
Jeanne Wolz
âHe is the first person I worked with that I felt like gets it and can help me.â
I came to Alex after a few years of really just losing hope that I was going to find work that was meaningful to me. And that fit the lifestyle I really dreamed of. He is the first person I worked with that I felt like gets it and can help me.
He is so good at getting you out of a one track mind, I came to him because I didn't want to be what I was before. But I couldn't get myself to think in a different way. If you're considering working with Alex, I highly recommend it. ~Jeanne Wolz
Amelia Vogler
"After Alex, I have a global practice, speak on stages..."
For years I was afraid to dream big because it would mean that I would have to show up in my native and authentic gifts. I was immobilized by being comfortable. After Alex, I have a global practice, speak on stages - under lights, and allow myself to offer a space for healing that I didnât know was possible. I canât more enthusiastically jump for joy, share hips and hoorays, and hold one of those big foam fingers in the direction of Alex and his work. Go that wayâŚ. your dream is too important not to. ~ xx Amelia, North Carolina |  www.ameliavogler.com
â¤ď¸ PS - A personal note from me.
Why I, personally, do this work: I like to think of myself as a gardener, of sorts. I've spent the last two decades working full-time with folks who are out there making our community and world - or most importantly their inner world - a kinder place. And watching these people over years, I've had a ring-side seat to see the beautiful ripple effects the changes they make (big or small) has on others around them.
It's led me to believe that the solutions to our worldâs problems, the many many many forms of beauty, music, art, peace, laughter and enjoyment, and breakthroughs in compassionate and kind-to-our-planet living that we have not heard of yet, but which will make life for all of us so much better...
Already exist.Â
As seeds deep in the hearts of people out there right now - on sidewalks, crossing kitchens, on the subway, walking a path, or reading my words now. Someone is dreaming of changing their life, another of teaching kids how to connect with nature, another of writing their memoir, another to start growing their own vegetables with their family.
They feel this seed as a tugging in their heart. They feel its âcallâ. It may not be selfish to pay attention to it. It may be the most unselfish thing we could ever do.
So that the kids growing up amongst us can know at least one person who has chosen to live life differently. That may be the only thing they will need to unlock the seeds in their heart down the road. Knowing you.
I would die a satisfied man if I could be a gardener in this world of such seeds.
~ Alex
